Role
Graphic Designer
Our team reimagined the brand identity for Ragdoll Retro, a secondhand clothing store with locations at Doc's Records in Fort Worth and a storefront in Bedford, Texas. Drawing inspiration from the client's love of clowns and old circus themes, we developed a whimsical, cohesive aesthetic centered around a purple color palette and hand-drawn illustrations. These include playful elements like a cherub, stars, a crescent moon, a bear on a ball, three unique clowns, and a Ferris wheel.
To enhance the brand's distinct punk vibe, we designed custom polka dot and spiral patterns, complemented by grunge textures. The chosen fonts, Nohemi and Courier, reflect the edgy yet nostalgic personality of the store, seamlessly tying into their audience's expectations.
For social media, we introduced a 90's-inspired collage technique to highlight the store's eclectic clothing collection. This approach balances nostalgia with modern design, creating visual harmony across platforms and marketing materials. The result is a bold, memorable brand that aligns with Ragdoll Retro's unique identity and audience appeal.
